On Monday Insurgents shot down a military helicopter over the capital, Damascus.

According to activist the 47TH, Al Jazeera broadcast a video showing the Syrian pilot parachuting down from the fighter jet shot down by the Free Syrian Army.

The online activist tweeted: "NEWS REPORTS OF DOWNED MIG ARE NOW BEING CONFIRMED WITH A VIDEO (VID DOESN'T SHOW JET, ONLY EJECTED PILOT PARACHUTING DOWN)."
