Following Friday's deadly shootings in Colorado, Warner Bros. has announced that the French premiere of “The Dark Knight Rises” scheduled for Friday night in Paris has been cancelled, local media reported.
Currently on Tour in France, cast members cancelled all their interviews at the last minute.
According to TF1, a national French TV channel, all the interviews with their journalists have been cancelled. Journalists waiting at the Bristol Hotel in Paris to interview the cast were asked to leave, according to the channel.
French actress Marion Cotillard who portrays Miranda Tate in the much anticipated film has also cancelled her interview with TF1.
Aurora Police have confirmed that 12 people have died, and 50 others injured on Friday after a lone gunman went on a shooting rampage at the Century 16 Movie Theaters at the Aurora Town Center, Colorado.
