CCTV footage captures brawl between biker gangs in Adelaide

A Thai food restaurant was the scene of a biker fight on 23rd December, police in Australia have confirmed. Two rival biker gangs got into a brawl in the middle of a crowded restaurant which had families present. The two gangs threw punches and cleared the room before the situation calmed down. South Australia Police released a CCTV video of the incident.

One man has been arrested after four men, from the Rebels and the Descendants Outlaw Motorcycle Gangs, became involved in the fight which took place at the Orientai Restaurant. Crime Gangs Taskforce Detective Superintendent John De Candia said one of the men - believed to be from the Rebels - was seated at a table near a group of three men, one of whom was wearing a Descendants t-shirt.

"This was not a nightclub where you might expect this sort of incident to occur," said Supt De Candia, in a statement. "They have no regard...in relation to where they engage in their violent conduct and it certainly places the community at risk.

"There were 25 to 30 people in the restaurant at the time, these were families who were out enjoying each others' company prior to Christmas." Watch Superintendent De Candia's statement here
