Thousands of people have continued to protest in Port Said, Egypt, following a weekend of mass demonstrations calling for justice for the victims of violence seen during protests last month.
More than fifty people were killed when violence was triggered by news of death sentences handed down to 21 people from Port Said for their involvement in the football stadium disaster a year ago in which 74 died.
Following the violence which also saw incidents in Cairo, a curfew was enacted. However protesters consistently ignored the curfew continuing to demonstrate and retaliate to police attempts at dispersal.
Military tanks are reportedly stationed around Port Said on Monday, as the protests show little sign of abating.
