iPhone 5: forget August 7th, September 21st date now rumoured

Last week it was 7th August, this week its September 21st.

Apple's new iPhone will be the most hyped and anticipated phone of all time (unless Apple stop making phones or Samsung kill the market completely). We're no closer to knowing the actual date of the phones release but some information has come filtering.

A factory in Taiwan, Pegatron - one of Apple's normal suppliers - has begun production of the new phone already reports DigiTimes but according to a French blog, the iPhone 5 will be featuring a larger screen and a 19-pin dock connector and will be released on Friday, September 21, 2012.

The new phone is said to have a thinner screen and will drop Google Maps for Apple's new map feature on iOS 6.

The latest phone is said to feature ‘in-cell technology’ which has touch sensors in the screen instead of another layer on top as it is now.
