Facebook has improved its notification system for weddings and engagements by adding a sidebar notification much like how birthdays are shown.  The social network giant has dubbed the feature ‘Weddings and Celebrations’ and changes every time somebody alters their relationship status accordingly.

You can click the new notification and comment immediately without having to visit their profile or leave the current page.  What’s also quite useful is the ability to send a friend request to the person your friend is married or engaged to, if you haven’t already.
