A video has appeared online which allegedly shows the moments following former Libyan leader Colonel Gaddafi's violent death last October. The video shows Gaddafi surrounded by Libyan rebels, who captured him, mocking the former "King of Africa".
Originally tweeted out, the user suggested that the video should be shown to current Syrian President Bashar Al Assad who is currently engaged in a year long civil war with activists in his country.
Last year dozens of videos appeared shortly after Gaddafi's death including the moment he was captured in Sirte and an apparent sodomisation of the ex-Libyan dictator by rebels. Although some claim this video as newly released, others have suggested that the video has been seen before.
The video appears to show rebels using Gaddafi's dead corpse as a ventriloquist's doll. In the video many rebels are seen using their mobile phones to film Gaddafi's corpse, raising questions whether there are other videos out there captured at the same time.
