Supporters of incarcerated punk protesters, Pussy Riot, have staged a small demonstration outside the Khamovniki Court in Moscow where the three ladies are currently on trial.

Several protesters reportedly climbed a building opposite the court, and threw smoke bombs onto the road in front, while shouting "Free Pussy Riot".

The protesters believed to be all male wore balaclavas, similar to those worn by the controversial group.

The demonstration is not thought to have affected the court proceedings inside.
