Police are investigating a racist rant by a middle-aged black woman that took place on a London bus on the Jubilee Weekend. The citizen journalists were coming back from the club Cargo in Shoreditch on the 149 bus when the woman started her foul mouthed rant.
The video was exclusively sent into Blottr by those who recorded it. They also uploaded it onto YouTube however it has been removed numerous times because it breaches YouTube policy and "promoted hate speech". The video has however been duplicated by other users and reposted.
In the video the woman says 'I'm so glad. I'm born black and I'll die black. I was born African and I'll f****** die African.'
'The only reason I was born in this country is because you f****** people brought my people here.'
'My parents are f****** African, born in Jamaica. And I’m f****** African, born in England and I can’t stand you white people, I tell you.'
The citizen journalist who recorded this video spoke exclusively to Blottr:
"It [racial abuse] started as we got on the bus, although [it was] not directed at us. This lady was intent on making sure she was the centre of attention so we thought we would give her the limelight she yearned for!"
