Usain Bolt broke Twitter records yesterday after becoming the only athlete ever to have defended an Olympic gold medal in both the 100m and 200m races.

Bolt was not the only Jamaican to see success in the race, the caribbean island's Yohan Blake took silver, and Warren Weir took bronze.
It was not just fans of Bolt who took to Twitter to express their excitement following the race. Bolt, a regular 'tweeter' himself, thanked supporters and his close family using the social network.
