Police charged a teenager with the murder of a pensioner killed by a fire in Pentyrch, Cardiff.

On January 27, police recovered the body of David Evan in his bungalow in Pentyrch. An 18-year-old male was arrested on suspicion of murder, as Blottr previously reported.

South Wales Fire Service alerted the police officers at around 3am after extinguishing the fire.

Today Bleddyn Rees King, from Abercynon, appeared before magistrates in Cardiff charged with murder of the 64-year-old man.
