Police in North Wales have revealed that the bodies of two people have been found in a house in Gwynedd.
So far neither body has been identified, but local residents say they were a man and a woman in their fifties who are both believed to have lived in the property in Chwilog near Pwllheli.
A spokeswoman for North Wales Police explained that officers were sent to the house just before 9:30 am on Tuesday. "The bodies of a man and woman were found inside the property," she said. Currently the police are not treating the deaths as suspicious, but the coroner has been informed.
A spokeswoman for North West Wales Coroner Dewi Pritchard Jones said that after a formal identification of the bodies a post mortem examination would be carried out.
"An inquest has not been opened into the deaths," she added.
No further details are available at present.
