The Cardiff Design Festival, an annual celebration of the best of Welsh design, is set to kick off this Friday with the festivals aiming to 'inform, inspire and provoke.'

Every year the festival has bought some of the best in talented designers and design thinkers in the city and across Wales. The event is widely recognised as a great opportunity for talent to showcase their skills and passion so they are recognised and valued by the visiting public as well as catching the eye of businesses looking for the next best talent.

According to the organisers, "The Festival provides a spotlight on the design sector and shows how design affects every aspect of our lives from the beds we sleep in to the way cereal packets keep our breakfast fresh, how journeys to work are signposted and our work places are designed".

The event is now in its 6th year and continues to be a key talent producer.
