A person was saved from a fire developed in Tynewydd, Threhebert today.

Around 5.30am the South Wales Fire Service extinguished a fire in Scott Street in Rhondda Cynon Taff, 20 miles from Cardiff.

The fire started at in the hallway of a house at the ground floor.

Fire investigators and police officers will return on the scene to establish the causes of the accident.
