A man was arrested today on suspicion of murder after a house blaze in Pentyrch, Cardiff.

The Fire Service alerted South Wales Police around 3am today, after they put out a fire in a house in Cefn Bychan, Pentyrch.

One person suffered a fatal injury and died. The identity of the victim is currently unknown. An 18-year-old man is suspected to have caused the incident and has been arrested.
