Cut the Welfare cord

£9 Billion a year is being spent on just 100,000 "troublesome" families. £90,000 per family. £1730 per week. Just to keep them at their present level of criminality and welfare dependence. Simply remarkable.

A little background perhaps. This morning Eric Pickles has announced that local councils will have up to £4000 MORE to throw at each of these families in the hope they will stop robbing us, the remaining 64.5 Million who manage to stay within the law and not create chaos in society. He has spotted that up and down the land, a hard core of unsociables, bloated on entitlement and brimming with a vast knowledge of their "rights" are responsible for blighting the lives of their neighbours, creating crime waves and responsible for epidemics of mindless violence against their peaceful fellow citizens. Until now, the answer was to employ an army of social workers, outreach coordinators, inclusivity officers, all ready and willing to step in with "analysis" as to why when faced with the choice of doing what you like and handing others the bill or doing what you like and financing it yourself was creating a sub class of people who could live the life of Reilly at the expense of the taxpayer.

In reality, the £1730 paid to these "troubled" families each week is nothing more than Danegeld - an unwritten contract between the State and these feral scrotes using YOUR money to placate them. Supply them with a house and they won't wander into YOUR neighbourhood - God help whoever they end up housed next to - give them enough spare cash and they'll sit in the local pub all day or surf the sofa belching Stella at home, not arrive to hassle you at your place of work for an education or the skills to earn a living. The education system designed by the left has failed them so badly, the left now pours £9 Billion a year into their pockets to stop them turning on their masters. And as with all systems of Danegeld, the demands for more continue. Give us a house, cash AND the freedom to do as we please or we will riot and take by force what we cannot acquire by our Labour. Just as the King Ethelred was doomed with the first payment of 3300kg of silver to avert the Danes from invading, our own marauding hoards have no intention of earning an honest living and paying their own way whilst the Welfare state and Guardian reading academics so readily succumb to blackmail and political vanity.

By no small coincidence, we also learn today that London has spawned 250 violent black gangs since Social Services decided to destroy the stable family unit in favour of the Welfare State and cash handouts for single mothers - gangs that ironically offer many of the functions of a stable family - a feeling of empowerment, belonging, loyalty and commitment, corrupted by the dogma of Politicians and their agendas, to create explosive mutations capable of holding entire neighbourhoods to ransom with guns and knives - whilst their creators retire on golden pensions to thatched cottages far away from what they have created.

It's very simple Mr Pickles. You do not hand out another £4000 in the hope the problem will go away - it won't. It will return strengthened in the knowledge that Government is prepared to hand out MORE cash to those who disrupt the lives of others. You adopt a simple system of penalties. For every criminal act, the guilty lose a proportion of their benefits. For every raid against society, the invaders forfeit their entitlement to Danegeld. Want to run amok and terrorize your community? Feel free, but do not expect that same community to fund your housing or pay your bills. Do not expect that community to finance the education or the welfare of your children whilst you spit in its face. Do not expect that community to protect you or your property whilst you plunder what you desire from the very people affording you protection.

In short Mr Pickles, cut the cord. These bastard offspring of 50 years of Welfarism need to stand on their own two feet or wither and perish on the wastelands they have created for themselves and their communities. They are not "troubled" families - they are simply trouble.
