Danish Striker, Nicklas Bendtner, is facing UEFA charges after revealing the name of an unofficial sponsor on the top of his underwear in a goal celebration during Wednesday's Euro 2012 Group B match against Portugal in Lviv.
UEFA says Bendtner is suspected of breaking Law 4 of soccer regarding a player's uniform and equipment. The player lifted his shirt and lowered his shorts slightly, revealing the name of a betting firm across the top of his briefs, after scoring his second goal in a 3-2 loss against Portugal on Wednesday.
Following the match Bendtner was reprimanded by the Danish Football Association, which has official ties to a rival gambling company.
On Friday, Bendtner flashed the top of his new, regulation-friendly black brief at practice. UEFA have said that the Control and Disciplinary Body will deal with this case on Monday.
