CCTV footage has been released today by British Transport Police in the hope that it will act as a warning to others about the dangers of being under the influence in railway stations.

The video shows a lady stepping off a train at Barnsley station, stumbling backwards and falling in-between the train and platform.

Luckily in this case the woman was recovered from the track very quickly and taken to hospital with only cuts and bruises.
