Revealed: Londoners work 20 days unpaid overtime each year

A new survey has revealed that London workers put in above and beyond the hours they are contracted for.

25% of London workers aged between 25-34 put in an extra 2-3 hours work every day, as much as 15 extra hours per week! 11% work even longer, clocking up more than 5 hours extra work each day.

These exhausting revelations equate to 20 days each year in unpaid overtime! Not much less than the average holiday allowance.

It is thought that such long extra hours, are in part due to the ease of mobile working enabled by new technology. 29% of workers noted the importance of being able to work on the move.
