A motorcyclist appeared injured, lying in the road on the A4 this morning after an apparent traffic accident.

The motorcycle rider was prone on his back at a roundabout on the A4 underneath the M4 flyover in West London this morning at approximately 09:30.

A coach and a car, possibly involved in the incident, were also stopped with the coach driver and car passengers tending to the man.

Soon after, police and an ambulance were seen racing to the scene Eastbound on the A4.

There was no clear indication whether the motorcyclist was conscious or not but he had full protective clothing on including a helmet.
