Warren Street and Euston Square in Central London are currently closed off due to an alleged security alert.

Warren Street tube has been evacuated, and the surrounding area cordoned off. Heavy traffic queues have been reported due to the road closures.

University College Hospital was also evacuated.

Initial reports suggest that the security incident is on North Gower Street, and that it was due to a suspicious vehicle.

At approximately 2.30pm the roads were reopened.
