A 20 year old man has now been charged with the murder of Anuj Bidve who was shot in Salford on Boxing Day.

Appearing in court earlier today (2nd January) Kiaran Mark Stapleton from Ordsall, told the court his name was "Psycho. Psycho Stapleton."

After being arrested on Sunday Stapleton appeared at the City of Manchester's Magistrate court. Due to the seriousness of his crime Stapleton will appear in Manchester Crown Court some time over the next few weeks. No application for Stapleton's bil has been made.

A candle lit service will be held in Ordsall tonight at 6pm, in memory of Anuj Bidve.
