Actress Kate Hudson and rocker boyfriend Matt Bellamy have purchased a £4million home in the United Kingdom.

The couple whom are expecting their first child, have bought the north London property after deciding that the UK would be “a great place to raise a family”.

The 31 year old actress told OK! Magazine, "I have a feeling I'll probably be spending a lot more time here. I don't know about full moves but a half move probably. I love it here but we both travel so much. I'll be around, wandering the streets!"

An insider also said that, "Kate looks at the U.K. as a great place to raise a family. She sees herself living and working from London for the long haul."

Kate already has a seven year old son named Ryder with ex-husband Chris Robinson.

Kate and boyfriend Matt from Muse, have taken Kate’s legendary Hollywood actress mother, Goldie Hawn and stepdad Kurt Russell to look around the area.

The insider added to the Mail on Sunday newspaper: "Matt and Kate have shown Goldie and Kurt around the area and Matt took them all to Devon to meet his parents. They also looked around Cornwall for a holiday home."

The pair are also looking at holiday homes near the 32-year old rockers parents’ house in Cornwall.

However, Kate recently admitted she was "unsure" about moving to the U.K. on a permanent basis.

She said: "I'll obviously be spending a lot more time in London bit I'm not sure about moving - not yet! We'll probably split it 50/50 - I do love it here and surprisingly I do love the weather. It's so nice to have seasons."
