<p>A serious police incident this morning on Huddersfield Road has caused major delays on one of Britain's busiest roads.</p> <p>The A641 Huddersfield Road both ways is closed, and traffic congestion is building due to serious police incident between Larch Hill and Netherlands Avenue. West Yorkshire Police said the incident happened on Huddersfield Road, at about 23:55 BST on Wednesday The car and pedestrian, who is believed to have suffered a leg injury, had left before police arrived. Police have recovered an Audi A3 in Wibsey as part of their investigations. Huddersfield Road remains closed while police continue their inquiries.
