Police raided homes after they were on a hunt for a wanted man who may have been carrying a gun.

The man made “serious threats” to specific people in North Ormesby and there were reports that he may have been in possession of a firearm.

He was not found during the raids from 9.30pm last night and inquiries were ongoing today.

Police closed a number of roads in the area to traffic while they searched properties.
