The highly popular Infinity Festival returns to Stockton On Tees in May.
On 26 May the festival which celebrates the River Tees and the famous Infinity Bridge, will bring an action-packed day of rowing on the river followed by a soaring evening rendition from a mass community choir.
From 9am to 6.30pm more than 300 rowers will battle it out on a multi-lane course upstream from the Tees Barrage as part of the historic Tees Regatta. The competition, organised by Tees Rowing Club, also incorporates the Community Boat Challenge Final, which sees the novice teams from Stockton Council’s Indoor Community Boat Challenge go head-to-head to compete for the annual trophy.
As dusk settles over Stockton, an eclectic mix of wonderful live musicians and a host of different voices from across Stockton’s communities combine to present Infinite Voices.
The event will begin with an inspiring musical soundscape which will fill the route to InfinityBridge with a diverse range of music and sounds. It will culminate with a huge choir made up of school children, families, youth and community groups.
