RAF Helicopter Called In To Remove Body From River

A body has been recovered from a river in South Yorkshire river by the RAF Sea King helicopter.

The mans body was pulled from the River Don in Doncaster at about 6:45pm. The body was spotted on Sunday evening.

High waters and a strong current meant the man's body could not be retrieved from the river earlier.

The removal of the body had been delayed by more than 46 hours. This was because of the extremely difficult conditions.

The males identity hasn't been realised yet.
