A multi vehicle pile up closed part of the A19.

The emergency services rushed to the scene at about 8.35am this morning after reports of an accident on the A19 southbound at the A689.

The accident involved a van, a Volkswagen Passat, a Volkswagen caddy car van, a Volkswagen car van and a Volkswagen Golf.
