A known paedophile, who had been previously convicted, has been sentenced at the Old Bailey in London today to four years imprisonment for the grooming and sexual assault of a teenager.
30-year-old Daniel Joslin previously of previously of Station Road East in Canterbury, Kent, admitted to two counts of sexual grooming, breaching a sexual prevention order, engaging in sexual activity with a child and four counts of distributing indecent images of children.
Joslin had only just been released from prison when he contacted the teenager using a false profile on the social networking site. He persuaded her to meet him at a library and several months later sent her child porn photos and movies. Joslin was under a ten-year ban on using the internet or contacting anyone under 18.
The Old Bailey heard Joslin plea that he is unable to control his 'illness'.
