Following a successful campaign to lobby the Government to raise the income tax threshold, grassroots campaign group Right Angle have turned their attention to the world of football.

In their new campaign 'Give Harry a Go!', Right Angle are asking people to lobby their MP through the site by signing a petition. This then sends a letter to the relevent Member of Parliament with the following text:

Football is in crisis. Foreign managers haven't got us anywhere. We haven't won a World Cup since 1966.
Enough is enough. As my local MP will you join thousands of grassroots fans, and fight to have an English manager for the England team?
Please write to the Chairman of the Football Association, Mr David Bernstein, to say: "We should give Harry Redknapp a go!"

The group hope to achieve 10,000 signatures by the end of the football season.
