Two people have died and six others injured in a collision in Staffordshire.
The two car collision occurred on the A38 at 19.45 on Friday.
The two females killed in the accident were sisters. They were travelling in the front of one of the cars. They died at the scene.
Three of the injured being treated in hospital are children, including a four-year-old girl who suffered abdominal and pelvic injuries.
The accident, on the northbound carriageway, involved a red Lexus and a black Peugeot.
Police closed both carriageways of the A38 for several hours while officers from the Collision Investigation Unit examined the crash scene.
