About

I am Sid Ryan, a featured columnist for Blottr and an aspiring journalist, I post on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. My collected work can be found at my blog The News And The Rest. I'm a graduate in Biochemistry but with a keener interest in politics, economics and society. I write on a range of subjects from the perspective of the political left, but I don't particularly align myself with any certain clan. As far as I'm concerned, even if a party is moving in the right direction, they're probably doing it the wrong way and for the wrong reasons. Other than that I'm just some guy with an opinion. That's no better or worse than anyone else on the internet, right?
