Profile

Education for Sustainability, Agronomics, Journalism and Blogging consume most of my awake time. My academic development continues with a proposal to Cirad France to research governing agrifood systems, alternative food supply and demand models for rural producers in the Sahel.

Most of my career has been frontline and that *accessible* manager within Social work but since 2009 after a recession led retirement, I turned my hand to international activism and freelance writing full time. My work very much reflects my humanitarian values and political voice, which of course remains unaligned. I am now working to help expose the corruption of the powerful elite and the grip they have on natural resources which keep conflict and poverty alive.

I would like to encourage civil journalism to initiate in regions that are continually disempowered due to impoverishment and lack of education; it really isn’t a matter of if but when.
