A woman in her early 30s has died after a two-vehicle collision in Gwynedd.

Emergency services were called to the scene on the A4244 at Deiniolen, near Llanberis, on Saturday afternoon.

Two other people were injured and were taken to hospital, but their injuries were not thought to the life threatening.

One person had to be cut free from one of the vehicles by firefighters following the incident at 13:20.

The woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
