– An array of colourful outfits took over at Ladies Day at Aintree for the world's most famous race meeting today, the Grand National.
Ladies' Day traditionally sees an entertaining mix of genuine haute couture and sartorial gems as those attending compete to be noticed and entered into Aintree's annual style competition.
Coleen Rooney was spotted wearing an elaborate skirt whilst Roxanne Pallet, best known for playing the role of Jo Sugden in ITV soap opera Emmerdale, also appeared in a beautiful white dress.
