The Arabic version of 'Britain's Got Talent', 'Arabs Got Talent' is to be adapted for television in Saudi Arabia, several media have reported. Buraydah, a city located in north central Saudi Arabia, decided to launch its own version of the popular TV show televised in 32 countries.

The concept of "Buraydah's Got Talent" will be the same, a reality TV show searching for ordinary people with extraordinary talents, however in the Saudi version women, music or dance will be banned.

The contestants will only be allowed to perform religious chants, recite poems and engage in sports events. The panel of judges will be composed of a poet, a television producer and TV presenters.
