Barcelona manager Joseph Pep Guardiola will leave Barcelona today after 4 years in charge of the club.
Guardiola had been toying with the idea of leaving and has for the last two seasons renewed his contract on a yearly basis but last night staff and players were informed of his intention to leave the club.
He held a meeting with club president Sandro Rosell to outline his future plans, and during the meeting expressed his desire to leave.
Guardiola has won 13 trophies since taking charge of Barcelona in 2008 but this season he saw his side lose to Real Madrid last week to practically give their rivals the La Liga trophy whilst in midweek Chelsea beat them 3-2 on aggregate to qualify for the Champions League final.
