A Lebanese 20-year-old man was found in a suitcase as he was trying to cross the border to Greece, The Daily Star reported on Monday.

The young man was stopped at the Pazarkule Customs Gate at the Turkish-Greek border when customs guards opened the suitcase in which he was hidden.

“Customs officials became suspicious after seeing a German national experience difficulties carrying his luggage and demanded that the man open his bag,” the Lebanese daily reported.

The man transporting the suitcase was a German national. He has been taken into custody and charged with migrant smuggling. As to the Lebanese man he is now awaiting to be deported.
