Facebook, the social networking company, announced it will open an office in Dubai on May 30, Gulf News reported on Wednesday.

"Facebook will be holding a media briefing on Wednesday to announce the opening of the office," Samer Renno, CEO and Managing Director at Renno Communications, the public relations company for Facebook, told Gulf News.

The offices will open at Dubai Internet city with an initial staff of three people, Zawya Dow Jones reported. The aim is to get more advertisers from the Gulf Countries.
