President Francois Hollande says France is expelling Syrian ambassador.
The news comes as Australia also expelled on Tuesday two Syrian diplomats, including the chief of mission, in response to the massacre of civilians in the Syrian town of Houla. Syria's charge d'affaires, Jawdat Ali, and one other diplomat, have also been told they must leave the country within 72 hours.
At least 108 people have died, including 49 children and 34 woman in Houla's massacre last Friday.
