Four Kuwaiti lawyers have lodged a complaint against a blogger for “insulting God and His Prophet and for desecrating the Quran,” Gulf news reports on Monday.
The four lawyers, Abdul Mohsin Al Qattan, Mohammad Al Ajmi, Fahad Al Muneer and Ahmad Al Qabandi, said the female blogger, posted insults on the microblogging site Twitter and used " the dirtiest words and expressions to describe God and Prophet Mohammad [PBUH] and his family and companions," Gulf news quoted Al Qattan, one of the lawyers.
"She is obviously leading a campaign to undermine the values of the religion and of the society and to denigrate the Holy Book," Al Qattan told local Arabic daily Al Watan, Gulf news reports.
The four men called on the Kuwaiti authorities to identify the woman and launch legal proceeding against her.
