A suicide car bomber killed 9 people and injured dozens in northern Yemen on Friday, local media have reported.
Amongst the fatalities were 6 members of a Shi'ite Muslim rebel group and three civilians, Reuters news agency reports. The attack took place near a school in the al-Jawaf governorate.
On Monday, a suicide bomber killed more than 90 people during the rehearsal of a Yemeni military parade. The attack was claimed by al Qaeda's Yemen-based wing.
