The World Financial Centre in New York City has been evacuated after a suspect package was found. Initial reports have said that the suspect package is a grenade that was revealed when a package was x-rayed.

As well as the building itself, the surrounding area has also been cleared.

Eyewitnesses say hundreds of people are stood outside on the marina.
