A pair of silk knickers allegedly belonging to Queen Elizabeth II has sold on auctioning website eBay for $18,000.
The shorts-like silk knickers were placed on eBay by the estate of the late "Baron" Joseph de Bicske Dobronyi who claimed to to have come into possession of the garment after they were left on a private plane when the Queen visited Chile in 1968.
A monogram of the royal crown and the letter 'E' gave the owner of the item away, and resulting in the whopping price tag.
18 bidders fought to win the Queen's knickers just one week before a weekend of celebrations for her Diamond Jubilee in London.
