Tens of thousands of Egyptians gathered on Friday in Cairo's symbolic Tahrir Square to protest against military rulers and in support of Mohamed Morsi, the candidate of the Muslim Brotherhood's Freedom and Justice Party who is expected to win Egypt's first presidential elections since the toppling of Hosni Mubarak.
The Supreme Presidential Electoral Commission delayed the results of Egypt’s presidential election, due to be announced on Thursday, after both parties, Mohamed Morsi and Egypt's former PM Ahmed Shafiq, complained of fraud during the voting process. The results are expected to be announced on Saturday or Sunday.
